Ray Walsh is a founding member of the famous CBC television show All Around the Circle (1964-1975).

He has produced/released six albums of Newfoundland/Irish/Scottish music, has performed on numerous radio and television shows and for over forty years has been contributing to local artists’ albums and concert tours ranging from John White, Anna McGoldrick, Joan Morrisey, Kevin Collins and many others.

He has participated in shows and concerts all over Newfoundland and eastern Canada, and has performed as a musician from Ireland to Mexico.

Throughout his lengthy musical career, Ray has always been a proponent of Newfoundland traditional music and Newfoundland musicians, however nothing gives him as much satisfaction as performing with his very own family band.
